^*~Sigh~*~ Long Time...

Yes, I know... it's been a REALLY long time since posting on my blog, but life happens, right? Sometimes things come up that are beyond your control, or sometimes you just plain get burnt out. Well... I was the latter LOL. I just needed a little break from blogging. When I feel absolutely obligated to write in my blog, even if I don't have any true quality material to write, but I write anyway, just for the sake of getting a post in... well, something isn't right.

So... I've had a nice break and now I'm ready to jump back in the saddle. Not to mention, my creative juices are really flowing. I've been reading a book about inspiration Inspiration: Your Ultimate Calling by Wayne W. Dyer. It's a truly amazing book. I never realized how much creative blockage I had... and I'm not even half way through the book. I read a couple pages a day usually and just take my time, absorbing every word.

And it's a good thing I'm switching gears and getting back into creative mode... I've been invited to join Tangie Baxter's CT!!! I am SO excited. I think she has mad skills and can't wait to play with her stuff. I've already got my cart loaded up with my first round of goodies. Don't worry, I'll show you what I'm getting heehee : ) And of course, I'll post my LO's here as well. Yes, that IS something I need to get better at doing... posting my LO's *sigh*

Since we're on the subject... why don't I just post my most recent LO here right now?

That's right, that IS a square LO. If you know anything about me... you know that I don't do squares, my LO's are usually 8x10 (most people think they're 8.5x11, not the case) but Michael's has these really neat scrapbooks for sale now that are made for digi scrappers. You stick the page in your printer, print it, then stick it back in the book!! How cool is that? (FYI, I didn't see them for sale at the website, so they may only be available in-store) Anyway, one of the sizes is an 8x8 so I thought it would be fun to make some LO's in that size and I'd make it an album dedicated to my fur babies... so this is the first page. Whew, that sure was a long story LOL. Oh by the way, the image is clickable for full credits. This kit was designed by Amanda Thorderson.

Well folks, I've got so little to do and so much time to do it in.... wait strike that, reverse it (I LOVE Charlie & The Chocolate Factory) So I should get going. I'll be back with another update soon, I promise. Until then... be safe and happy scrappin'!
