So I stumbled across a blog that had an entry about Soul Journaling. I start some digging and find the source. It all starts HERE with Sarah Whitmire's idea of mixed media journaling. I'm just tingly all over from the idea of this I mean WOW!!! This is just the sort of thing I was looking for. I never thought I'd be a "hybrid girl" but the more I think about it the more I think that I already have everything I need to do this sort of stuff. I'm already making ATCs, most of them come straight from my digi scrap stash... shy not move on to a new frontier? So... I'm thinking tomorrow is day one of a new week, why not start tomorrow? And I totally think that this will boost my creative spark.
For now... I'm off to watch Street Kings, something hubby picked up from RedBox. These days it seems impossible to spend any quality time with him (due to my insane schedule) so I'm happy to grab this moment.
Wow!! Loads of stuff has happened since I last posted. My computer caught a virus and I lost EVERYTHING- but I'm slowly recovering, so that's a good thing. I've picked up a new copy of Photoshop CS3 and Illustrator CS3 (which I know nothing about). I'm still very interested in designing and I think I've found a home, I just have to get started. For right now, I'm busy scrapping. Mom and I went to our family reunion last month and I took TONS of pictures so I'm trying to get them all scrapped for a photo book : ) I'm very excited about that. So I thought I would start showing off some of my layouts here in my blog. THIS is my latest.
It was made using Indian Summer by Newlife Designs (who I've been guest CTing for this month)
So there you have it, an update on me, my latest layout and hopefully a bit of inspiration. Thanks for visiting my blog and hope to see you again.
Until next time, be safe and happy scrapping.
